Fall Heritage Days at Museum of Appalachia
Come enjoy Wild Blue Yonder’s Appalachian music and the beauty of Fall in East Tennessee at this festive event. With a student focus on the day, groups are welcome and can get tickets by writing bookings@museumofappalachia.org. It will be a day to step back in time and soak in the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of pioneer traditions. It’s also a great chance to buy a Wild Blue Yonder CD! (They’re only available at our live shows.) See old-time demonstrations of the fall harvest season, including blacksmiths, spinners, weavers, basket makers, sawmillers, sheep shearers, broom makers, beekeepers, and dozens of other artisans. Many activities too, including spelling bees and storytelling. The event also runs Oct. 26 and Nov. 2. Event hours on Nov. 3 are 9am-3pm.
