Cherokee/Scottish Heritage Celebration in Franklin, NC

Looking for a fun, fascinating way to make history come alive? Join WBY in downtown Franklin, NC, as we honor the traditions of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and the Scots of the Appalachian mountains of WNC. We will perform from 11:30am-1:30pm at the gazebo in the Town Square. Event is FREE to attend! Enjoy a variety of vendors sharing art & merchandise from Scottish/Appalachian descent to the Eastern Band of Cherokee; demos, lectures from local historians and the Scottish Tartans Museum & Heritage Center.
