Ancient Sounds Festival at Historic Ramsey House
WBY is honored to return to Historic Ramsey House in East Knox County, this year introducing beautiful new talent on cello, fiddle and vocals – Kristiana McCombs Arnwine! The festival celebrates the rich musical traditions of the Celtic and Appalachian musical roots of our region.
Now in its ninth year, the event will run for three days:
Friday, August 30th – Dinner in the Fork featuring music by #WestWend and @fourleafpeat and food by @sweetpbbq!
Saturday, August 31st, we welcome all of the families of the Fork of the River for our Families of the Fork Reunion.
Sunday, September 1st for our Gathering on the Grounds featuring @wildblueyonderband, @blueridgegathering, #glenayr, @lakeside_gospel, and @newjohnscreek as well as local food vendors, artists, and craftsmen!
Ancient Sounds is the largest annual fundraiser for Historic Ramsey House. All proceeds go towards our mission of preservation and education so that our community can continue to access this cherished piece of history.
